HTML Kit, you can get it free at download.com
its really good and color coded so you can see the different tags....
and if you forget a tag you can search for it!

best to date is Adobe Dreamweaver because you don't have to know HTML to design. It has a drag & drop feature alongside of the option to code in HTML if you want for more power options.

You can get the free full 30 day trial from Adobe....i would check them out if you are wanting to get into Web Design because they offer some killer graphic editors to design logos and much more....

i think if u planning to make a website ,, it's better to learn
HTML and CSS

that more effect that using tools

and if u want to use software ,, i think Microsft Front Page is the best !!
