Why isn't the lan in red alert 3 not working?

I try to host a LAN match on red alert 3 but in the loading screen my progress bar stops at 96%(my friend's loaded at 100%),the disconnect menu appears and I must exit the game with Task Manager(the game does nothing,doesn't exits or anything).Please help.

thats weird cause mine works fine
